- Was there a formal RFP conducted as part of the due diligence?
An existing agreement was in place with Pointbreak Consulting Group which was negotiated in 2014. Rather than doing a full formal RFP, management proceeded to evaluate an extreme low cost provider, (the Chambers of Commerce Plan, which was noted to be one of the lowest cost providers in the country), and after careful evaluation, the results proved that the Pointbreak plan matched the low cost. This provided us assurances that it was very cost competitive.
