When I initially decided to pursue my CPHR designation, I never thought I would gain so much from it. It has enriched my career in many ways.

I have access to networking and professional development events to share my experiences and learn from my peers and other leaders, whether through an inspiring conference or a more intimate roundtable session.

Volunteering has been the most rewarding aspect of my CPHR BC & Yukon membership by far. Mentoring up-and-coming HR professionals as part of the Professional Mentoring Program allows me to pay it forward to the next generation of HR leaders. Watching your protege grow and succeed in their professional and personal life, and get closer to finding their true potential has been fulfilling and well worth the time spent.

As a member of the CPHR BC & Yukon Coastal Vancouver Advisory Council, I get to see firsthand how hard the CPHR BC & Yukon team and volunteers work to add value to the profession and the designation. It makes me proud to be a part of it.
