Before joining CPHR BC & Yukon in August 2015, Rock served as CEO of the Cornwall & The Counties Community Futures Development Corporation – predominantly active in business growth, economic development, federal grants administration and business lending.

From 2004 to 2014, Rock led the research, standards, and professional compliance agendas of a national professional association, contributing also to the national and international accounting and auditing standards-setting process.

Earlier in his career, Rock served a number of sectors including international development public health, manufacturing, retail, and healthcare. As a change agent, he has led several service reconfigurations in Ontario, has served as CEO of an integrated health service provider, and as an executive with Domtar Fine Papers and the Farm Boy Group of Companies while providing advisory and consulting services also to a number of nationally recognized associations.
